The following is a list of publishers in the West. We have narrowed our scope to bring you information faster. Submissions accepted between October 1-February 1, contest dates may vary. Allow one to six months for reply. No electronic submissions.

Calyx is a journal of art and literature by women. Submissions are accepted only between October 1- December 15. Prose, including essay, should be no more than 5,000 words and double spaced. Poetry no more than 6 poems. Prose and poetry should be submitted separately. Name should appear on each page. A short (50 words or less) Bio should be sent with submission. Include SASE and phone number. No electronic submissions.
