Personal Statement
Technology and working for the "good cause" are the two things that I have focused on in my work life. I have always worked in and for the public and non-profit sector and know how important the use of technology for these sectors is. Both sectors will need more technology skilled staff, but even more they will need people who bring a diverse skill set that includes technology, but also management and training experience. I have vast experience in training and technology and project management, but saw the need for leaning more management skills. The Public Administration Program gave me this opportunity and taught me skills I was eager to learn and to use on my job. I especially enjoyed strategic planning and organizational behavior. These two topics have become almost as important as technology and training on my daily work. I see myself as a person who has the capability of combining technology and the human factor in a very effective way.
