Writing Skills

 My background as an English major taught me how to compose a sentence, but the MPA program taught me how to write professionally.   From grant proposals, to budget summaries, to memos, every MPA writing assignment had a practical purpose. I loved that many of my writing assignments went hand in hand with what I do at work on a daily basis. Being able to clearly articulate points and make specific recommendations is incredibly important in all fields, but especially in Public Administration. Below are a few examples of my papers.
