Team Work/Leadership
Teamwork is a critical aspect of any job in the nonprofit world. I enjoy any opportunity to work with team members – I always find it to be a rewarding experience. In fact, one of my favorite things about getting my degree at San Francisco State University has been the students. The MPA program attracts students from all ages, backgrounds, and sectors. I’ve learned more from my peers at SFSU then I ever thought I would.
I think being a good leader and being a good team member go hand in hand. Sometimes good leadership simply means listening and allowing others to show their strengths. I’ve been fortunate in both my academic and professional spheres to work on some fantastic teams. Here are a few of my examples of teamwork.
