Vincent Dee: ePortfolio

Welcome!

Before you start your adventure into my portfolio, I would like to introduce myself. The name is Vincent Dee, but I also go by Vince, whichever you prefer. I am a currently a Junior here in San Francisco State University. I am a declared business Major with concentration in Accounting, although I am also trying to pursue Finance as well. I used to be a Engineering Major, but I believe Accounting is a more practical approach for myself.

On the left is the famour photo of the "Charging Bull" or also as the "Wall Street Bull" and "Bowling Green Bull". According to Wikipedia, the artist, Di Modica, who created this sculpture after the 1987 stock market crash, presented this as a gift to the city as a symbol ofAmerica's "agressive financial optimism and prosperity".

Di Modica put his work of art in Lower Manhattan on December 15, 1989, but later removed by city officials. After much outcry from the people of Manhattan, the "Chargin Bull' was permanently show cased at the Bowling Green.

Di Modica's Charging Bull sculpture has appeared in a number of movies as well as one of the tourist attractions in the Financial District of Manhattan. I hope you enjoyed a this brief history lesson and enjoy the rest of the site. If you have any questions, my information is in the contact page.
