Process:
Take your plastic container and near the bottom cut a hole (I used a ¾” hole saw). Use sandpaper or abrasive cloth (or utility knife) to smooth jagged edges.
Two holes for the middle containers and one hole for each end container. You will be attaching in series so if you have limited space keep in mind a conservative configuration (where you place the holes, they could be at 90 degree angles).
Take two adapters and cut a piece of pipe (however long you want it, keeping in mind your available space).
Sparingly glue the pipe into the socket of each adapter and twist to spread glue. You will have two threaded ends. Let dry. Repeat this procedure to make a second fitting assembly.
Take some of the rubber sheeting and cut a hole (with hole saw) and trim it (with utility knife or tin snips) so that you make a gasket that will fit snuggly over the ½” fitting. You will need four gaskets.
Place the gasket over the fitting and push the fitting through the hole in the container from the inside so that the threads are exposed on the outside of the container.
Attach fitting to adapter and tighten. Repeat procedure with second middle container.
You should now have two containers attached. Repeat steps 6 and 7 with your second end container.
You now have three one gallon containers in series
Place vinyl tubing over outlet of pump and place pump in any one of the containers. Then direct outlet tubing so that you can transfer the liquid to the area of your choice.
