Children's Cargo Bag
Materials:
Naugahyde, $2.00
Nylon lyning, 2.00
Zipper, $0.50
Bracket, $1.50
Bolt, size 8/32, $0.50, nut included
Tooth lock washer, $0.15
Process:
The bag is made out of naugahyde, its dimensions: 9” wide by 8.5” length and 4” deep.
A zipper was attached at the top to keep the contents in the bag safe so that whatever children choose to put in it will not fall out.
The bag was then sewn onto a long piece of strong Velcro, which is attached to the horizontal piece on the handlebar.
What our group did was detach the bracket that was holding the reflector. We then straightened out the curve in the original bracket with a wrench.
After straightening the bracket we screwed on another bracket to it and then screwed the reflector onto the new bracket.
A locking-washer was used to help grip the two brackets so there will be less movement than where the brackets are screwed together. The purpose of adding a new bracket was to bring the reflector out and up a few more inches so the bag would be able to fit behind it rather than covering it.
