Information for Vendors
What You Need To Know
- The annual SF State Employees Holiday Craft Fair will be held one day only on Tuesday, December 8, 2009. The location is the lobby areas on the first and second floors of the Administration Building. Hours: 10:00—2:00.
- There will be a $5 charge to participate as a vendor.
- Forty tables will be provided forvendors. The tables are 6’ long by 2½’ wide with a limit of one table per person. Tables can be shared.
- All items provided for sale must be handmade by SF State employees.
- You must use comp or vacation time for the time you are away from the office on the day of the fair.
- The fair will be advertised campus wide, including an article in CampusMemo, beginning in November.
- You will be provided with a map showing the location of your table approximately one week before the fair. Set-up can begin by 8 o'clock on the day of the fair.
What You Need To Do
- Sign up to be a vendor.
- All items for sale must be marked with a price.
- You should have cash on hand so you can make change.
- It is up to you whether or not to accept checks as payment.
- If you are concerned about security, please ask a friend to help you at your table.
- Please pre-package any food products you wish to sell and have samples available for taste tests.
- Have a CD player (with headsets) on hand so customers can listen to personal performance music CDs.
- Remember to provide contact information so your customers can follow up with you about the timing and status of their orders.
- All vendors will be expected to clean-up their area at the end of the fair.
- Most importantly: have fun!
