I have had the opportunity to participate in various projects while in the Public Administration Program that have provided me with invaluable research and evaluation skills. The most rewarding of projects was performing a program evaluation for the San Francisco Zoo's Nature Trail Program.

Our small team created surveys for program alumni as well as a detailed report for the Nature Trail staff outlining alumni feedback and overall program success.  Have a look at the draft report.

I also had the opportunity to perform original research in the field of nonprofit resource development. Choosing a sample of Bay Area nonprofits, I performed various statistical tests to analyze the relationship between a nonprofit's size and type and the amount of independent funding sources utilized. Should nonprofits pull revenues for a variety of funders or focus on a few? Take a look at my proposal!
