Public Managers today must possess a diverse knowledge base relevant to their respective fields. In the age of “reinventing government” we as administrators are being called higher in our understanding of not only the practical aspects of public administration, but our macro-level understanding of how public agencies operate.

To this end, I have explored a variety of topics and theories including: the roots of modern democracy, budgeting purposes and trends, leadership and management, nonprofit functions, and personnel management theory that have provided me with the foundation to apply myself in any situation.
