Course Number and Title: Marketing 688 New Product Management Seminar (3)

Course Description: Prerequisite: MKTG 431, FIN 350. Project /focuses on encouraging creativity and developing new products.

Staffing Classification C5 which permits a maximum of 20 undergraduates.

Effective date Fall 1995

Course Objectives To learn how to create new products.

Course Content

Team projects -Prospectus: This is the prospectus for a new product and will be presented orally and in writing at the end of the term.

-Workshops: This is a major on-going activity of this course.

Individual Activities -Famous Inventions: Summarize the story of some famous invention. Look for an important principle to share with the class. Make the principle very clear.(10Minutes,2 pages ) Include a complete bibliography of your source.

Prerequisite Knowledge: MKTG 431, FIN 350.

Teaching Methods and Materials This course will be taught as a series of workshops.
