What qualities and/or experiences do you bring to your job at SSS?What is the greatest challenge facing SSS students?
- Being a first generation, low income student allows me to empathize with the students in the program. Studying public adminstration and actively seeking work sites with varied groups allows me to work efficiently.
What keeps you coming back to work everyday?
- Learning and mastering "the system." I believe everyone has the potential to be successful but to do well in college, 1st generation college students must prick the bubble they grow into from growing up in non-college educated households.
What are some of your interests outside of your SSS job?
- Bagels on Friday
- Wonderful staff and students
What quote would best describe you?
- Cooking, listening to music and going to the movies
- One day I hope to have a restaurant /bar named after my grandmother Maria serving a complete Jaliscience menu.
