Intel strikes back with next-generation chips Tech News on ZDNet
Two things jump out here: The 4MB cache and no mention of the thermal ceiling. AMD's lastest chips are much more energy efficient than Intel's and at a cheaper price. So why such a large cache (as compared to similar offerings from AMD)? And will the measures taken to reduce leakage from the cache be enough?

Blogger used to default to SFTP for posting to ftp sites. Now this feature can be used when connecting to apollo.sfsu.edu and libra.sfsu.edu. Thanks, Brian!
