"Knowledge of course material and good examples from the real world".
"Very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, open to varying opinions, accessible, invited guest speakers very helpful, prompt in returning exams and email, and helpful articles but more specific questions would help get more out of content ".
"Systematic and effective teaching. Clear, shows concern over student learning".
"Good guest speakers. Enthusiastic and competent presentation of subject as well as promoting interesting class discussion. Very involved in students questions and encouraged participation in all levels. Good readings and coursework provided. Simulation was very good-MARKSTRAT is a good tool".
The course could be improved by:
"Discussing the MARKSTRAT materials from the text. Also covering the main text at a slower pace. Let students plot strategy outside class and create more time for instruction. Perhaps an outline on 'What is a marketer? What do they do?' - examples from the real world.
"Grading too heavy on small number of projects".
"More discussion on theories".
"More time for subject presentations, or preparation of final company project".
