Knowledge of marketing. Marketing stories

very open, encouraging the students to stay in touch with the real business life

-news items

-discussions

The content of the class. The professor was very precise and provided interesting examples from the business World

nothing

Lots of discussion about current event

broad knowledge

integration of course readings, presentations, projects, and case studies was helpful and kept things interesting

He is very passionate about marketing and used a variety of teaching methods. Group projects, Power Point, and recent articles.

Using a lot of real world examples and interesting case studies. Giving a lot of helpful advice on students comments on iLearn and in class.

good class discussions

He is knowledgable in marketing and encourage students to talk more and think out of box.

high expectations, current events were important to the classroom experience, knowledgeable about real world applications of our the coursework friendly, motivating, knowledgeable

The case studies were confusing at first

-cover better on textbook materials

For the cases, I wish I could have more personal feedbacks on the content of my papers. The grade is not sufficient to tell me where I have to improve.

Long winded and boring. Project was pure waste of time

Put too much impact on the project (most of the grade), it would be better if the grade was to distribute more evenly

give fair chance for all the students to speak at class

i think some of the students are struggling with sitting for long periods of time after working all day. really brief breaks might revive people and keep participation levels up Because of his passion for marketing he often did not listen or respond to other's points of view. It would have been helpful if he had.

describe the "case method" of analysis more clearly in the beginning of the semester... people were caught a little off guard and then it was too late to make up the points.

none.

evaluate the online contribution on a weekly base, not only by the activity of the day the class takes place

Nothing

Have test! Every class start with discussion and then lecture. However, there's no test, so there's no incentive to be in class. The project takes up 2/3 of the grade, which I don't think it's effective to

stimulate students to learn the textbook..

define all the homework more clearly

maybe offer a few marketing plans samples, or excerpts of how each chapter contributes to an actual plan throughout the semester would help to build a physical example

I think it was a great course and it doesn't need to be improved!

Maybe one more guest speaker session

Written assignments were too early.

Sanjit is one of the best instructors i've had at SFSU or any institution for that matter.

course is very hands on, I don't think there can be further improvements.
