| The most effective attributes (characteristics) of the instructor's teaching were: |
| Professor Sengupta is very knowledgeable and passionate about Marketing, particularly in the high-tech field, and it shows in his lectures and class discussions. All of the cases reviewed in class were very relevant and useful to spark in-class discussions. The mini-presentations are the closest academic exercise to real-world business situations and I found them very worth while. |
|
He has various methods - case studies, discussions, class presentations which were unique. Midterm exam was also unique and helped me learn a lot. It was not like a typical exam where you mug things and then write it down.
Overall I feel this is the best MBA course I have had so far at SFSU. |
| Professor's Sengupta's passion is very contagious and his expertise in the subject matter is exceptional. This is one of the best professors and courses I have taken during my MBA program. Many thanks for providing a wonderful experience. |
| good knwoledge about the IT industry |
| The teacher has an authentic enthusiasm for the topic which resulted in a more stimulating environment. The teacher also addressed current issues and their relevance to our class and our future. |
| I learned a lot through case studies and midterm. |
| His knowledge |
| Drawing on current events to illustrate real-world examples of academic concepts learned in class, and facilitating robust classroom discussion about said events |
| Those attributes of this instructor's teaching which I think should be improved are: |
| I think Professor Sengupta is one of the most capable, effective and engaging professors at SFSU - so I sincerely wouldn't change a thing. |

|
more open minded
justification of grades |
| Grades could be posted a little quicker. |
| Maybe more practicing of individual assignment such as midterm (I love it), and less case study. |
| The course could be improved by: |
| Perhaps a few more guest speakers. We had one speaker that really sparked the classes interest and was referred to for the remainder of the course. |

| Nothing. |
|
