The most effective attributes (characteristics) of the instructor's teaching were:
encouragement of real-world situation/current events
He focused more on directing the theory to our own experiences professionally, citing examples of the companies we are employed by often. It was a comfortable and interactive atmosphere and the case studies and projects are exactly what a marketing course should have lots of.

Those attributes of this instructor's teaching which I think should be improved are:

His syllabus was off on the dates and hard to follow on some assignments. Also, if he felt very passionately about a certain perspective, anyone with an opposite perception felt a little uncomfortable in voicing it or arguing it further.

We didn't have any exams on the book which made it hard finding the urgency in reading it.
Course itself was great, just the room we had to take it was not supporting the learning process at all
