The most effective attributes (characteristics) of the instructor's teaching were:
Interactive discussions and insights
Real-world teaching and making one think criticaly.
1. Marketing Plan
2. iLearn discussion
IDEO field trip is very effective. The interactive brainstorming method is very useful for my group project.
Instructor was very knowledgeable about the material and very patient with the class. I thourouly enjoyed the course.
Passion for his subject; incorporation of current events and student experiences into the learning process
good case examples
Great, up-to-date examples and business cases. Brought new and opposing ideas to discussion.
He is a great speaker and makes an effort to involve students by discussing ilearn discussion posts in class, as well as by making students present in front of the class on discussion cases.
Class discussion of article
The professor is very knowledgeable with respect to the subject material.
Clear objectives, interesting case studies, stimulating class discussions.
Comprehensive updated knowledges about strategic marketing in the real world.
Very Knowlageable
Our instructor used case studies to show how marketing played out in real life. I thought I learned a lot from the case studies, especially when we were asked to identify the problems and make recommendations. I appreciate the fact that we were actually thinking and not memorizing information and paraphrasing it.

Those attributes of this instructor's teaching which I think should be improved are:
Informing the class of grading expectations on case studies
More case analysis
He needs to be more open to others opinions and ways of thinking. I felt at a disadvantage because I do not read minds.
I wish we wouldn't waste so much time at the beginning of class discussing current business events and projects. We didn't get to the actual material until 8:30, and he kept us in class until 9:15. For someone who works full time, this is late to stay in class.
Points for in class participation were given out for students saying just about anything. Most of the time I felt students were paraphrasing what someone else had already said or merely sharing their own opinions and not contributing quality to the discussion. I found there to be a similar problem with online forum participation. Students would often post any business related news and find some way to relate it to marketing. I also felt the course was often stretched to use up the entire time. By this I mean the material covered could have been covered in 90 minutes but because instead was covered in 2 hours and 45 minutes.

The course could be improved by:
Earler in the day.
I would love to have done more case studies.
More time in class devoted to the principals embodied in the final project
lecture at least a little bit
Don't have any great ideas, but there are some room for improvement.
More practice doing case studies and less discussion of the reading since only the case studies count towards the final grade.
See comments above.
No points for participation. Too much time was spent with students voicing opinions and paraphrasing facts the entire class had already read for themselves. Ask only for quality contributions. Although the group assignment did have a lot of work involved, I would recommend decreasing the amount of work and reducing the group size. I felt a group of 6 was too many people.
