Robert deMallac
My main interest is in applied epistemological engineering, which most folks simply call instruction. I am enrolled in the graduate program for Instructional Technology at San Francisco State University. I completed my baccalaureate as a special major in cognitive science, although I spent the bulk of my undergrad work at State enrolled in the excellent NEXA program.
I work in the College of Humanities. Previously I worked in the Journalism Department (go Xpress!), and before that in the SFSU Bookstore (thanks, Bill!). Work, as I mention it, consists of maintaining labs and assisting in support of staff and faculty in Humanities. Alas that primarily consists of having to keep Winderz boxes mostly free of viral infections and on their feet (thank you, Micro$oft, for making such crappy products, and thereby keeping me in gainful employment!). Thankfully that also consists of getting to work with Macintoshes (thank you Apple, for everything!).
