eugenia aggregata
A small shrub or tree, indigenous to Brazil, it is an
attractive evergreen landscape plant that prefers a soil pH of 5.5 to
6.8. It bears a 1" oblong, dark-red fruit with a thin skin, sweet with
a single seed. The fruit is eaten fresh or as a jelly or jam. Propagated
by seed or cuttings under mist.
