Common Names: Breadfruit

An exceedingly difficult to grow tree as temperatures below 40°F kill it. Fruit is green, round, to 8" and generally seedless. A seeded form is common in the tropics and called Breadnut. Fruits are cooked as vegetables. Seeds are used like chestnuts.
