Calendar of Events

Phi Alpha Theta will co-host the
annual History Department Banquet and Award Recognition Dinner at the Seven Hills Conference Center on the SFSU campus.  We will induct new PAT members as well as honor outstanding history students.  A cheese and wine reception will begin the evening, followed by dinner and the program.

We will also be asking for volunteers for next year’s Phi Alpha Theta executive team.  So if you are interested in being President, Vice-President, Secretary or Treasurer make sure to come at 5pm.

Tickets will be available in early May in the history student lounge (SCI 270).  New Phi Alpha Theta members and honorees receive complimentary tickets. You must buy your tickets AHEAD of time as there is limited space.

 

Fall 2007

Ex Post Facto
, the student-led academic journal for the SFSU History Department, will  be selecting papers for publishing. Members are encouraged to submit papers, help edit the journal, and spread the news. Submissions are due this semester by October 12th, please check Ex Post Facto’s web site for requirements. Editors receive academic units depending on the number of papers edited. Last year's edition is available in two formats: the electronic version is currently online; the print version can be found in the History Department office.

 

Suggestions?

If there is anything that you would like to do as a club feel free to drop us a line.  If you would like to do anything like have a party or a Bar-B-Q or if you know of any events around the bay, please let us know. Academic events like student forums or guest lectures are also possible. Don’t be shy, we would like to here from you! pat@sfsu.edu.
