Writing Skills
Writing is a crucial skill in any profession. Throughout this program, I’ve had the opportunity to write many papers including case study, research papers, and memoranda. Below are examples of my work.
William D. Ruckelshaus was appointed to serve two terms as the Environmental Protection Agency’s first and fifth Administrator During both of his terms, Ruckelshaus exemplified the characteristics of great leadership and continued to do so even after he left the agency both times. This paper discusses these leadership characteristics in detail and also discusses Ruckelshaus as a transformational leader.
Change within an organization often
come about to make some type of improvement. Though
intended to bring about positive effects, these changes
often provoke a variety of emotions and feelings in
those who are both directly and indirectly involved. In
2007, the EPA Region 9’s Superfund Division began the
process of reorganization. This paper discusses the
sources of change and effects of management change, in
the form of reorganization, on those involved in the
process.
Hurricane Katrina Case Analysis
Hurricane Katrina was a catastrophic natural disaster that needed quick and immediate attention. The aftermath of the hurricane warranted a quick and efficient response from government to address the growing problems associated with the hurricane. This paper critiques a case study regarding the government’s role during the Hurricane Katrina response effort.
