Team Work/Leadership

Many academics and practitioners posit that the future workforce is highly team-based (as opposed to individually centric workforce). Thus, there was tremendous emphasis on teamwork.  Below are four examples of collaborative projects.

 

President Johnson, Nixon and Carter

 

The Edge – Leadership Profile – a presentation that chronicles the leadership approaches, traits and rational of three prior American presidents: Lynden B. Johnson, Richard Nixon, and Jimmy Carter.

 

 

 

Plastic Bags – a presentation outlining a proposed state-wide ban on plastic bags in California. The presentation defines the problem; examines the impact of the problem; discusses policy evaluation criteria; poses three plausible solutions and makes a recommendation. 

 

 

Public Service Employee Motivation – Celebrate Public Service Logo

a presentation that addresses factors contributing to employee motivation and provides solutions to stimulating motivation. The theories addressed are: Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Herzberg’s Motivation-Hygiene Theory, McClelland’s Theory of Social Needs, Path-Goal Theory and Equity Theory.
