Writing Skills

It is imperative for nonprofit managers and public administrators to be able to communicate in a succinct but effective manner.  Professors in the MPA program encourage students to write short memos, so that we're able to communicate large amounts of information as briefly and succinctly as possible.  The following are examples of two memos that I wrote regarding public private partnerships, Wireless Philadelphia Case Analysis, and public policy issues regarding affordable housing, Smart Growth Case Analysis.  In both memos I attempted to convey the major issues confronting stakeholders, as well as possible solutions that stakeholders could take in order to address the issues.
