Presentation Skills
Almost every class in the MPA program requires an oral or Powerpoint presentation. This requirement, has given me ample opportunities to improve my public speaking skills, as well as the ability to convey useful information through the use of computers and other types of visual aids. I engage the public by asking for public participation, speaking in a clear and audible tone, and by making sure that the slides I use are visually attractive, and at the same time provide useful information in a brief and concise manner.
