GENETICIST JOB DESCRIPTION

The Department of Biology at San Francisco State University invites
applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the level of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR. In addition to mentoring undergraduate and Master's level students, candidates will be expected to establish an extramurally funded research program.  We are seeking a EUKARYOTIC GENETICIST who conducts research in Cell and/or Molecular Biology.  Teaching responsibilities will include genetics and other courses, such as introductory biology, molecular genetics, and/or cell biology.  Post-doctoral experience is required.  Applicants should send a curriculum vitae, selected reprints, a statement of research interests, a statement of teaching interests, and have 3 letters of reference forwarded to:  Dr. Laura W.
