Team Work/leadership
I have one class for leadership. The class is helpful because it allows me to study and work with admirable individuals whose leadership styles are impressive and will be useful for me someday. This experience assures my thoughts that leadership requires more than the effort of a single individual. Rather, it involves doing or working together with others toward a shared aim.
I have gained significant knowledge and experience from participating in the class. First, I feel more confident about speaking and expressing my thoughts and feelings. English is not my first language, but after interacting with my group and presenting assignments, I am not afraid to talk in English and know what to do better in front of the class. In this class, I also develop a Personal Leadership Development Plan as a guideline for my life including a leadership book critique.
I also have a chance from the Human Resource Management class to present a group project at the San Francisco City Hall. And it is a big fun to me.
