Knowledge of Public Administration
One of my pride in the MPA program is my culminating experience in the Capstone class. I have to provide precise problematic issues and their recommendations regarding to the 1995 Chicago Heat Wave Attack case. It proves my ability of thinking and writing as an administrator that I have learned for two years over here.
Another one I want to tell is that I have learned a lot about writing memos. Comparing the first writing to the last one, I feel much more confident in expressing my idea through memos. The following are examples I am proud of.
- Case Study: Columbia Disaster
The last one is technical knowledge that I have learned from real administrators. I interviewed and shadowed two administrators:
One from the City of Palo Alto and the other from San Francisco County.
