My e-Coach

My-eCoach.com provides an online PBL lessson builder for teachers to not only build lesson plans, but also create student handouts. This tool walks the user through essential questions, matching to standards, building activities, and posting the lesson to the web through their own internal server. While the tool is designed to assist specifically with PBL lesson plan building, it is important to note that a user should be familiar with PBL before attempting to create their lessons.

Think.com

Think.com is an online learning community developed for teachers and students to build interactive websites. If a teacher is familiar with PBL this site can be used to post a PBL lesson that students can access and then build their own projects within the site, adding multimedia components. It provides a protected community, and learning exchange opportunities within the student's school as well as with students around the world.

4Teachers.org

The site has PBL checklists to facilitate your process in designing lessons. Choose from a number of subject areas, types of activities, and select only the options that are appropriate for your lessons, while gaining ideas from the extensive lists they have created for you. There are also a number of resources available on PBL through this site.

WebQuest.org

WebQuests are popular online project based lessons, designed to link students to research or activities that are web-based. There is no singular format for WebQuests, but many resources are available and examples are readily available.
