Professional Skills

After working as a guest services agent at a hotel, I became interested in learning more about the financial aspect of the property and worked in the Accounting Department.  My experience there as an accountant made me realize that I am actually good at what I was doing and I enjoyed the challenges that I had to deal with.  I continued this passion for accounting and pursued in another accounting position working for a small firm in San Francisco.  To utilize my skills and knowledge learned in all the MPA courses, I am currently interning at the Department of Industrial Relations to help them in their accounting department, specifically in their collections and reconciliations efforts.
