DAI 527 - Digital Media III: Web Design
Course Description. This course explores the design challenges, theoretical issues and technical skills relevant to contemporary website design. Students will explore creative and technical aspects of developing online experiences through a range of exercises and group projects. Additionally, methods for organizing the management of projects, creative decision-making and labor distribution will be introduced. In this course, students will have the opportunity to explore structured as well as organic processes for conceptualizing, designing and developing for the web. Throughout the semester, laboratory work and group critiques will strengthen design vocabulary, improve communication skills and promote individual growth by examining the processes for others. |
