It is recommended for new students to have a good knowledge of C and object-oriented languages (esp. C++ and JAVA) before coming to United States as it definitely helps a lot in most of the classes. Also, brush up your concepts of HTML, CSS and some scripting language like Javascript, PHP/JSP. It is advisable to brush up on the mentioned language before coming to US as after coming here students usually get busy in arranging for accomodation, jobs and other non-academic requirments.
