Computer Science department in San Francisco State University is the 2nd biggest department in the university in terms of number of masters students enrolling each year.

It is recommended for new students to have a good knowledge of C and object-oriented languages (esp. C++ and JAVA) before coming to United States as it definitely helps a lot in most of the classes. Also, brush up your concepts of HTML, CSS and some scripting language like Javascript, PHP/JSP. It is advisable to brush up on the mentioned language before coming to US as after coming here students usually get busy in arranging for accomodation, jobs and other non-academic requirments.
