So yea the heading is lame but I noticed these devices that you use like a regular pen and then send what you made back to a computer. I'm even willing to buy one for us to try it all out.
Here is what I have seen so far:

http://72.14.203.104/translate_c?hl=en&langpair=ja%7Cen&u=http://www.nokia.co.jp/about/release_071218.shtmlThis could go two ways: it's awesome and we really embrace it or it's qwarky and a waste of time. I would love to hear what you folks think about it and if you have tried one share.
i think we need to add to our files on the google group with the syllabus' from our classes. I ould love to know how the teacher grades and what he or she traditionaly assigns.

WTF? Yea it looks weird but this is for those that want a smaller piece of cake. It's actually really cool because its just a mold(see below) and then your lil friend can have the smaller piece of the organic chocolate love.
When your out enjoying your break from school try to find a problem related to the holidays and solve it with a new idea. I really think we need to do this more often to get the creative juices flowing. We can't leave it up to our few assignments in school to be our only motivator of coming up with things.
Have fun with it.
Here are some ideas that I am thinking of off the top of my head:
Bioplastic christmas tree
flame-less candle holder
post consumer wrapping paper
universal packaging design
something that prevents excessive drinking....
I hope my idea for IDSA workshops in our labs made sense. Basically I don't remember anything from middle school wood shop and wood really love to get acquainted with all the tools and processes.
I think all it will take is someone that is experienced (certified if needed) and someone that wants to learn (either by watching or participating depending on protocol.) It's kind of like a mentor system. You may have already learned all there is to know in those labs so share it with others, then they can carry on the favor to someone else. So what do the rest of you think? Am I alone in not knowing what all this stuff is? If so then I REALLY want to get up to date.

Hey friends, great meeting today. I was wondering what classes are we taking for sure in the spring? For sure I got Metals and CAD. I have no idea what else I will get into though. Pino invited me to his exhibits class but I only considered it because he looked at me and said "I need some good students there" so my ego is more interested then anything else.
So reply and share what classes your taking so we can buddy up early.
