The "Maracas Salt & Pepper" shaker was part of Naoto Fukasawa's
original collection. (I'm not sure exactly what year it came out, but his web site states that his 4th collection is currently out.. so one can surmise it's been afew years.)
So imagine my surprise when I thumbing through the current issue of ID magazine (Nov/Dev 2007) issue, page 106, in a section titled "New & Notable 07" and this appears...

What the f*ck!!??!!
I may be over reacting and may not know better, but I beleive this isn't really new.... I may stand to be corrected, and since I can't find it on Polka's or enostudio.net... I can't verify which one came first... but I'm going to assume Naoto Fukasawa's came first, and someone goofed. How embarassing to be in ID Magazine as new and notable, when it's not.....
I guess it's possible the Polka designers didn't know and came up with the idea, afew years after
Naoto Fukasawa.. but you would think someone in ID Mag. would of caught it..
