Pre-Health Organizations at SFSU:

  • American Medical Student Association - Premedical Chapter at San Francisco State University

    AMSA SFSU is the premedical chapter of the American Medical Student Association at SFSU.

  • Health Education Access Link (HEAL)

    HEAL is an organization of community-minded SFSU students who aim to make health care more accessible to all, especially the underserved.

  • Health Education Student Association (HESA)

    HESA promotes the Health Education Department on campus and serves as a resource for Health Education students.

  • Holistic Health Network

    PBSO is a networking student organization for the growing post-bac community at SFSU.

  • Peer Educators Advocating Campus Health (PEACH)
    Administrating staff: Kamal Harb, MPH and Teresa Leu, RD
    PEACH is a program implemented by the Student Health Center which trains students to provide information to their peers about sexual health as well as nutrition.

  • Pre Health Professions Student Alliance (PHPSA)

    PHPSA is an alliance of the following student-run pre-health organizations: pre-medical, pre-osteopathy, pre-optometry, pre-physicians assistant, pre-veterinary, pre-dentistry, pre-naturopathy, and pre-pharmacy.

  • Student Dietetics Association (SDA)

    SDA's goal is to promote an awareness of dietetics, health care, food and nutrition related issues, and to prepare members for their post graduate endeavors. They provide networking opportunities with health care professionals relevant to the field, guidance about curriculum and internships, career fairs and guest speakers to enhance the dietetics student' knowledge of the field.

  • Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC)

    SHAC makes recommendations on behalf of the SFSU student body in regards to student health services, programs and fees.
