Professional Skills
I currently
administer a midsized county program, overseeing fifteen
staff, managing a $900,000 dollar budget, and serving
over 700 youth annually. I have provided direct
services to clients in areas of employment, education,
and enrichment. I have also developed services and
implemented programs for children, youth, and adults.
Through my academic experience and career in public
service, I have gained many skills and experiences that
helped develop me professionally.
The MPA program helped me hone my skills in financial management, human resource management, cost-benefit analysis, grant writing, policy analysis, resource development, and program management. These professional skills all work together in making me a well-rounded public servant.
