FNA supports the ongoing efforts of St. Vincent de Paul Society, one of San Francisco's major human service organizations.

A guiding principle of the St. Vincent de Paul Society is "no work of charity is foreign to the Society." The St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco provides human services to over 1,000 men, women and children every day through a spectrum of programs, one of them being the distribution of free clothing. The Society is also responsible for the fashion fundraiser Discarded to Divine, whereby designers transform discarded, donated clothing into works of wearable art and home decor. The inspired and visionary pieces are then auctioned to raise funds for programs which restore the lives of those in need.

This year, the FNA continues their support by increasing public awareness of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, assisting with a campus wide clothing drive, and donating a portion of the proceeds from Runway 2010: Nouvelle to the organization.
