WHAT:
SFSU's Apparel Design and Merchandising students show off their design and merchandising skills at this exciting annual event, sponsored by the FNA.
WHY:
The event is organized by the department's graduating class and features our seniors' final collections as students. Standing seats $15, second level seating $20, first level seating $25.

Discarded to Divine: Gala & Auction

WHAT:
Discarded to Divine is a charitable event showcasing the talents of professional and aspiring designers who transform discarded, donated clothing into one-of-a-kind couture creations and exquisite home décor which are auctioned to benefit those overcoming poverty, homelessness and domestic violence.
WHY:
Now in its sixth year, Discarded to Divine has become a much anticipated fashion event, attracting nearly 1,000 of San Francisco's philanthropic community, fashionistas, young professionals and established friends of the St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco.

Discarded to Divine: Preview Night

WHAT:
We're excited that this year's event coincides with the Jean-Paul Gaultier exhibition at San Francisco's own de Young Museum. A selection of this year's designer creations will be presented at a preview on Friday, April 13, 2012 during the museum's "Friday Nights at the de Young" series in a space transformed into an intimate and eclectic exhibition.
WHY:
The event is a complimentary sneak peek of the array of items that will be auctioned at the Discarded to Divine Gala Thursday, April 26, 2012. The floor plan for this event was created by graduating Apparel Design & Merchandising majors from SF State.
