Sometime during the Fall 2001 semester attend a program, rally or event organized by a community-based organization or student group that deals with an issue impacting Asian Americans or the broader Asian Pacific Islander communities in the U.S.

Discuss the “point of view” or political perspective of the organizers of the event.  Briefly describe the program or event.

Using concepts discussed in AAS 680 explain how the event and the organization(s) involved contribute to “social change” in the Asian American community.
