Ex Post Facto is an academic journal produced by students of the History Department at SFSU, and by members of the Kappa Phi Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta. We publish once annually, at the end of Spring semester.

Back issues of the journal are available online.

SPRING 2010 INFORMATION

Ex Post Facto, the Journal of the SFSU History Students, is actively seeking student editors for the 2009-2010 issue. Students looking for 1-3 units of credit, and experience in critiquing and line editing student papers should come to our informational meeting on Wednesday, February 3 at 2pm in the History Computer Lab (SCI 269).

Add codes will be distributed at this meeting. If If you cannot attend the Wednesday meeting, or have any additional questions, please contact us at epf@sfsu.edu.

Submitting an Article
Ex Post Facto seeks original, historically-focused scholarship by undergraduate and graduate students. We accept research papers, book reviews, and historiographical essays. A cash prize is awarded to the best submission.
Ex Post Facto will accept new submissions beginning in August 2010.
