Personal Statement

Over the course of completing the Master of Public Administration at San Francisco State University, I gained a wide range of knowledge reflected throughout this site. From traditional coursework and applied practice in community,to meeting with representatives of different NGOs, these experience has been challenging and rewarding.

I have worked extensively developing, implementing, and managing programs in the non-profit sector and in the profit one. The intersection of these experiences, coupled with the collaborative nature of my professional career, has allowed me to develop important skills in research, critical thinking, teamwork ,effective communication and analytic writing.

My next step will be to seek employment in a public agency , during June 2008. I will be ready to accept a variety of opportunities. The skills gained during the MPA program increased my managerial skills. My previous experence of three years in managing a non-profit program, and almost five years in private section overseeing many facts from budget to personnel to programming. Ultimately, I seek a challenging
position where I can make a difference for society and grow with an agency.
