Emotion Survey

Welcome. In the following survey, you will be presented with a series of stories. Each story you read will be followed by a picture of the person in the story. Your task is to read each story and look at each picture carefully. You will then be asked to respond to a few questions about each scenario by clicking on the appropriate answer with your mouse.

Participant Consent Form

The Culture and Emotion Research Laboratory is conducting an experiment on emotion judgements. This experiment will last approximately 45 minutes. As a participant, you will be asked to make judgements about what emotions the individuals in the survey are feeling. You will also be asked some demographic questions and some questions about your values and how you interact with others.

The last six digits of your social security number will be asked from you during the demographic portion of this questionnaire. This is done in order to make sure you receive credit for participating in this study, if your professors have offered you this for participating. After due credit is given, your social security number will be deleted and no longer associated with your individual survey results. All the answers you give in this experiment will be kept completely confidential.
