Presentation Skills
The MPA program has allowed me to hone my skills in giving oral and visual presentations. I have been able to effectively communicate the content of my work by developing concise, informative, and persuasive presenting skills. This attribute came into value during the fall of 2007 when I was responsible for presenting plans for an environmentally friendly housing development to the Sierra Club on behalf of the city councilmember I was working for. Thanks to the many presentations and valuable feedback I experienced while in the MPA program, I was able to attain an endorsement from the Sierra Club.
