Corry & Dave of Holler Town

Greetings all and thanks for showing an interest in my music!  I have a deep and abiding love for all the music represented on this site and have tried to study and play it as much as possible.

From being a soloist with the Pioneer Valley Gospel choir, to studying ballads in the hills of North Carolina, to listening to my aunts and cousins play and sing songs they learned growing up in Depression era Arkansas, to writing my own songs in these styles, I have only grown more appreciative of American Southern styles of music as I've gotten older. Musically I perform everything from civil war songs to mining songs to country-fied Tom Waits tunes, and just about everything in between!  My own songs constitute a mix of all these influences reflected through my urban California eyes.
