New Hires and Continuing Students

SFSU Employment Eligibility Verification (EEV) form. (example) EEV's are available in the Office of Student Financial Aid. The student must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 undergraduate or 4 graduate units and have completed the I-9 process in the Office of Student Fanancial Aid, located in the Student Service Center. Exception: International students must be enrolled full-time (12 undergraduate, 8 graduate units unless an exception has been made by the Office of International Programs. The EEV should be kept on file with the student's supervisor or payroll processor.

I-9 Federal Employment Eligibility Verification Form (example) - This process requires the student to present various original documents for verification of the student's eligibility to work in the United States based on the Immigration Reform Control Act of November 6, 1989.
