To insert music, click on the audio Pane Button to bring up the list of tunes on your computer and select which track you want to use. Click on the tune name to highlight the music you want and drag it down to the second audio track. It should "stick" there and the music will play along with your scenes. You might notice that there is now a line through the clips. That is simply to tell you that there is an additional audio track associated with the scene and is nothing to worry about.

The music will probably need to be trimmed to fit the movie. To cut the audio track, use the "split clip at playhead" BUT FIRST select the audio track so that the selection says "Split audio clip at playhead."

The audio track is split into two sections. Each has the name of the tune/# where the # is the number of the split. In the example below, the track has already been split a few times so that it's on splits 5 and 6. Section 6 is highlighted. It could be removed by hitting the delete key.

Or the section could be moved by clicking and dragging In the example above there is now a 2 second gap in the music, but it won't stay that way. Different tunes can be added, faded in and out by use of the edit volume button and overlapping the sections. |
