Just click on the clip you wish to trim down and it will appear on the stage. Under the scrubber bar is a splittable scrubber tab. Click, hold and drag the tab to select the part of the clip you wish to remove. The yellow indicates what will go away when you hit the delete key.

To take a chunk out of the middle or the end of a clip you'll need to move both tabs of the lower scrubber.

To make one clip into two the best way is to use "Split ___ clip at scubber" This same function can be used to trim audio as you'll see in the next section.___ The clip becomes two- clip/1 and clip/2

FINALLY! to assemble your lovely manicured clips drag them from the clip pane to the movie bar.
Just drag your clip to the line. If there are already clips there they will move aside so you can put the new clip where you want it. on to 3. Sounds! |
