Team Work/Leadership

Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.

Working in team can be difficult at the best of times.
I was very fortunate to have the opposite experience as part of my MPA program.  My colleagues were leaders in their areas and everyone was able to contribute to the project at hand.  We all understood that in order to achieve our goal, we had to work together.  We did our best to make it fun and it was a great way to forge long-term contacts and friendships.

I have also developed my leadership skills.  I am the UCSF Senior Delegate to the Council of University of California Staff Assemblies (CUCSA).  I presented data I collected as part of my research methods course on employee benefits to (CUCSA). The degree also allowed me explore personal interests, such as civil service reform in South Korea.
