Research
The majority of
the research in
my laboratory is primarily aimed
at designing, synthesizing, and testing novel substrates and inhibitors
of prostate and breast cancer enzymes such as prostate-specific
membrane antigen (PSMA) and HER2/neu. As a result of this
research, we hope to gain a better understanding of the role of these
enzymes in cancer and develop novel
chemotherapeutic and diagnostic strategies.
